Community Service from Birch Meadow student

My name is Stephanie Goldner and I am 9 years old. I am going into the fourth grade at Birch Meadow. After doing karate for 5 years, I am training for my black belt test this summer. As part of the exam process I have to do a community service project. For my project, I am collecting new stuffed animals to donate to the Reading Fire Department and EMS services.
When I was in first grade, I got dehydrated and had to go in an ambulance to Winchester Hospital. I was a little bit scared, but when I was in the ambulance, I got to choose a stuffed animal from 3 choices and that made me feel a little better. I want to make sure that other kids get to pick a stuffed animal to make them feel better when they have to go in an ambulance.

Donations can be dropped off at our house (we are in the Birch Meadow Directory) from July 10 - August 1. There is a bin by our back door. I will bring them to the Reading Fire Department during the first week of August. Please help me get one step closer to earning my black belt. Thank you.
